A Minor Disappointment

After writing quite a few puts on AMD, and being assigned a few times... I'm now holding 300 - currently below my cost basis. I bought in for $146 - but that doesn't include premiums received..... I've received to date $5400usd in calls/puts against AMD over the last few months. Dividing that by the 300 shares I now have is $18. So including the premiums, My cost basis would be $128. AMD was $118 during the day today, when I wrote 3 more covered calls at a $130 strike for $1.75 with 3 days to expire... The price fell to $108 soon after I wrote, so I'll be able to close those out for next to nothing. Still.... looks like I'll be bag-holding this one for a while. I'll try to keep writing weekly calls on this until these get assigned away from me.

We dropped some more overnight, and those three calls were worth 0.02 with two days to expiry, so I closed them out, keeping about $520 total.
